Makes me sick…

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/29/business/29walmart.html?ref=business

What kind of world do we live in?  What will generations to come say about us?  Since when is it OK to kill someone for your $400 TV, or a toy for Timmy,  or a Wii?  When did human life become second in anybody’s book?  What happened to the meaning of Christmas?  Do you think that this is what Jesus had in mind when he was born?  NO!  My faith in humanity has gone down yet another notch.  There is no reason for this!  It just boggles my mind. My wife today just told me of a story about the store she worked at.  A lady had tripped while entering the store and slid across the floor.  Do you think anyone stopped to help her?  Did anyone even ask if she was alright on their way by? No.  Why?  Because then they might not get what they came there for.  COME ON!!!  What is wrong with us?  How did we get this way?  At what point did it be ok to push someone else down so we can get what we want…not even about needing things just about getting what we want.  I’m not even sure what else I can say other than I am disgusted with our society today.  Please try to remember what you are celebrating.  Try to remember that this is supposed to be a time of joy and peace.  Please act like a cicilized group of people not ANIMALS…PLEASE.
