Lost ***Spoiler Alert***

***Do not read any further if you have not seen last night’s episode of Lost…Seriously…stop now…If you continue to read I can not be held responisble for the information that this post conatains.  Last chance…I don’t want to hear any complaining about how I “ruined” Lost for you…at this point it is your own fault!***

Ok so now that I have the disclaimer out of the way.  Last night’s episode was one of the best this season.  They explained so much in so little time.  The whole background with Fairaday and his mother explained a lot as to why he is they way he is.  The “surprise” ending of Charles being his father I called about 1/2 way through the show.  What I didn’t see coming was his mother killing him in the past!  That blew me away (yes pun intended).  I am very curious to see how this plays out in the end.  The show could go one of two ways as I see it at this point.  1) They are able to prevent the “accident” from happening which means nearly everyone is put back to normal (except Desomnd he’ll be stuck on the island since he would still crash there).  2) They fail and they are there to see their past selfs as part of the others, creating an infinite time loop…oh wait there is a third option…they could all just die trying.   My friend Tim supports the second theory: “here’s my theory – Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and the crew get in with the “others” – and never transport back to the right time. In 2003/2004 when Oceanic 6 crashes, the others they encounter (beards, guns, etc) are actually THEMSELVES.”

The previews for next week show Jack and Kate trying to finish Faraday’s work.  It looks like they are inside “the Temple”  Iam willing to bet this is where they have burried the A bomb from the 50’s.  There are so many questions left and very little time to wrap everything up (one more season 😦 ) I am every interested to see how this plays out!

Hope I didn’t bore you all too much!

Yet another theory I’ve heard (this one is HORRIBLE and way to easy)…

They spend all of next season attempting to blow up a hydrogen bomb. In the final episode they succeed, blowing up the island and forever changing history. **INstant Flash** the time is 2003 and they are all on the plane again. It lands successfully in LA and they’ve never crashed on the island at all. The entire series is then just erased from ever happening.

    How crappy would that be?

I agree especially since Kate and Saywer would probably going straight to Jail when they land…Life would pretty much be crap for all of them!
